Skills, Abilities and Personas

Web Developer

Working on a classic LAMP stack you will use PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, D3 and JavaScript to build amazing tools, systems and applications.

Systems Administrator

You will work closely with the "front-end guys" to secure, tune, optimise and maintain the servers and databases used to deliver technically complex applications.

Technical Architect

Working with our clients you will design and create solutions; create detailed design specifications and be the business face of the technical team.

Training and Support

You will support and look after our clients. You will have enough technical know-how to understand the issues but this is all about customer care and communication. You will ensure our clients receive the best possible experience.

Module and API Developer

Typically using PHP, you will create robust, reusable and efficient modules and APIs for use within our core systems.

Graphics and User Experience Designer

In this challenging role, you will create engaging graphics and design how people interact with our software.

Senior Systems Administrator

We are actively seeking to hire a full time systems administrator.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and knowledge:

  • Several years of experience of running and managing Ubuntu Linux server infrastructure and networks
  • Ubuntu Server administration including updates, planned maintenance, security, NFS and basic scripting
  • Apache/Nginx setup, maintenance, configuration and optimisation
  • Management of our PHP and MariaDB environment, including database replication and backups
  • ZFS management including snapshots, clones and pool rebuild on large volumes of data
  • Firewall administration, OpenVPN, PfSense, DNS and general networking
  • Monitoring of servers and infrastructure and maintenance of technical documentation
  • Creation of standard build templates and plans for servers and other infrastructure
  • Plan and supervise 3rd party penetration testing and security audits
  • Provide support to our internal team and assist with solution design
  • Create and maintain close working relationships with data centre providers and conduct site visits
  • Liaise with our client's technical teams and develop strong relationships
  • Maintain production, test, demo and development environments

This is a remote working position with some travel required.
